"The Uniting Church has been fortunate to have Ee'da participate in many of our programs. Ee'da has been part of workshops, opened dialogue sessions and presented her poetry to a room fulll of staff members enjoying slam poetry for the first time. Each time we have the privilege of ee'da performing or teaching for us she leaves the room speechles and spellbound, opening the way for deeper and meaningful conversations. Her poetry is not only what inspires, but also her vivacious and loving personality. I keep asking Ee'da back because her talent is outshined only by her passion she has for her work. I believe in Ee'da's ability to bridge cultural divides and open up the space for safe and encouraging dialogue."

April Robinson, Interfaith Network Developer, Commision for Mission, Uniting Church

"Maribyrnong Youth Services has worked in partnership with Ee'da through 'Sisters For Sisters' since 2013 in offering an after school singing program at Western English Language School to cater for the needs of newly arrived and refugee young people. 'Sisters For Sisters' have created, developed and facilitated the weekly program which has enabled the young people to develop their English, self confidence and performance skills.

As a young woman from a CALD background, Ee'da is a great role model and leader for other young women in the community. Maribyrnong City Council has invited Ee'da for spoken word performances at Refugee Week and International Women's Day events and the community were spellbound with her performances around the themes of inclusion. anti-racism and equality for all people. Ee'da is a natural story teller and is able to use this skill to give voice to community issues through artistic ability.

Ee'da is also a great facilitator, working with newly arrived and refugee background young people in a respectful and engaging way to illicit their stories through art.  have always found Ee'da to be very professional and reliable in any work she has undertaken for Maribyrnong Council."

Sandra Di Giantomasso, Team leader Youth Engagement & Planning Marybyrnong Council

As an international artist, arts events organiser and the curator at the HUB Singapore I have had the pleasure of witnessing Ee'da's talent and artistic skills at Woodford Folk Festival in December of 2009 - which is the biggest music and arts festival held in Australia with over 130 000 patrons attending annually.

At Woodford, Ee'da was performing in a contemporary dance/dancehall piece. Her performance was exceptional and widely appreciated.

I witnessed her musical and dance performances at a number of other international arts events, including the arts and cultural festival Wide Open Spaces in Darwin Australia. Ee'da was one of the highlights of the festival; her performances bridge cultural barriers, carrying insights into Singapore’s culture and are empowering and passionate creations.

Most recently, she performed at Cups and Canvas in Singapore, which is a pre-event for Out-of-Sight Festival Singapore, an event celebrating of the local art and performing art community held at the Telok Ayer performing arts center where she performed in collaboration with a local musician Rupak George an outstanding spoken word performance, that was very well-received by the audience. Sahida’s performing skills are exceptional and her unique approach touches the hearts and minds of the spectators. In my opinion Ee'da is an inspiration to young Singaporean and international artists. Moreover her performances are specifically relevant and enlightening to local audiences. Her talents and passion can be utilised both on stage and within the classroom setting..."
